Supervision

We believe that learning should be ongoing for all clinicians, no matter how experienced they are.  Supervision on a regular basis is an essential component to promote ongoing learning, so all clinicians, even licensed clinicians and certified behavior analysts, are required to participate in a minimum of one hour of supervision each month.  Additional supervision is provided on an as-needed basis.

  • Supervisor credentials: Most supervisors are dually credentialed as licensed clinicians (e.g., LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Psychologist) as well as Board Certified Behavior analysts (BCBA, BCBA-D).  Additionally, most of our supervisors have over 20 years of applied experience.

  • Supervisor availability: Supervisors are available for unscheduled consultation in between scheduled supervision sessions, even in the evening and on weekends, and clinicians are encouraged to call for additional supervision when needed.

  • Supervision toward Licensure: Supervision for registered interns (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI) is provided free of charge, based on caseload size.  Clinicians who maintain at least 15 hours per week of direct therapy services are eligible for 4 hours of supervision per month (2 individual, 2 group).  Clinicians who maintain 8-14 direct therapy hours per week are eligible for 2 hours of supervision per month (1 individual, 1 group).  Clinicians who maintain less than 8 direct therapy hours per week are eligible for 1 hour of group supervision per month.

  • Supervision toward ABA Certification: Supervision for BACB interns is provided for those who can commit to at least 10 applied hours, including at least 8 direct service hours, per week.  In-office group supervision is provided twice per month.  On-site modeling/coaching during therapy sessions is also provided every 2 weeks.
